The reason the first time was so expensive was cause of the consultation fee. |

RE: CO2 laser threatment
Are any of the places offer free consultations? I know that's a thing for some other stuff.

RE: CO2 laser threatment
I found a place in Virginia that can do it and it's a good dermatologist. Unfortunately because of my new work schedule I won't be able to do it for a while. I have no idea why it's hard to find places in US. There is more plastic surgeons and dermatologists then anywhere in world.

Well Im not sure about the US, but I would have thought they would be at every corner ![]() 6-7 of the bigger ones I had removed previously seems to reappear again. Getting another threatment in about a week. I do think that once they have been zapped down we should look into what makes them grow again. We have to stop the sebum production somehow. Probably via vitamins or food. I hear Accutane should work but with scary risks. Im at 20.000 i.u. Vitamin A daily atm. Giving it a few months and seeing what happens. Raising the dose if nothing significant. Will let you know |

There is more plastic surgeons and dermatologists then anywhere in world. I have been taking 30,000IU of Vitamin A for about a year now with no noticeable ill effects so you might be able to get away with increasing your dose slightly. It does slow sebum production down a bit for me and definitely reduces breakouts but it's unfortunately not a high enough dose to have any of the profound effects Accutane does. I think the dose would need to be in the 100,000's of IU, which would quickly lead to toxicity. And you have to keep in mind that Vitamin A is Fat Soluble and stores in your fat cells so even a safe high dose taken over a prolonged period of time can still lead to toxicity. Vitamin A supplements are just one of those things that work well but can only be pushed so far unfortunately. I find that controlling my insulin levels by eating low Glycemic Impact foods (except after intense exercise or first thing in the morning), taking Probiotics, Vitamin A, a multi Vitamin B, not over exfoliating/using too many rough chemicals on my skin and moisturizing seems to reduce sebum production for me. Also if you're taking multiple supplements together you should check if they interact or compete for absorption and also if there is anything that helps them absorb. For example, some Fat-soluble Vitamins absorb better when taken with some dietary fat. |

Heard it people doing weightlosses should be really careful because of the fat being burnt from the body thereby releasing the stored Vitamin A. What about Vitamin B? There is one(of many) studies saying Vitamin B5 also has some good results reducing sebum production. Take a look at this one: http://www.drdach.com/Acne_B5.html The good thing about Vitamin B5 is that its a water-soluble vitamin which means that what your body doesnt use is just being ejected through urine and you would have to take enormous amounts to overdose. Best regards, Martimus |
