Infected fordyce spot?
I think I have an infected Fordyce spot , started out slightly red and irritated so I pinched it and think I have made it worse . It has become swollen and irritated red around the immediate area and is painful to the touch . What are my options ? Will it go away if left alone ? I have been putting neosporin on it for the past few days . It has only been a week since I had first noticed it . [Image: b3X6v8]

It'll settle down. Just try not to pick it. It might scar.

Mine get red sometimes...it calms down after a few days, I normally put body powder on it and try not to pick at it...but it always makes me nervous

Usually happens when I get sweaty, like when I’ve been working outside and don’t shower for a few days

A few of mine’ll turn red once in a while, normally when I’ve been sweating...I get nervous that it’s something else every time though
