CO2 laser threatment - Martimus - 07-22-2018 03:29 PM

Hello guys.

I sadly can only find a few cases about threating fordyce spots on the penile shaft with CO2 lasers. Anybody in here who has done the procedure?

Im somewhat prone to scarring and Im afraid it'll make things worse. Im seeing a dermatologist in a months time to possibly get them removed.

I dont have a lot, but I have like 2-3 large ones which bothers me.

It will cost around 420$ here in Denmark for a laser threatment.

What are yout thoughts?

Best regards, Martimus

Really nobody who has any experience and insight in done procedures?

I had three CO2 laser treatments done past years and would say it's worth trying out considering 420$ is not that much.

But if you have just three big Fordyce Spots who bother you, just pop the oil out with peeking in with a needle.

Hey fordyce-slaughterer!

Thanks for taking the time replying

Yeah the price aint that much of a deal breaker if it'll help with the appearance. Im not gonna press a needle into my penis - thats for sure. I know myself well enough to see all of the disasters I could cause.

How did it go for you? Is the appearance better than before the threatment and what about scarring/pigmentation in your case?

Best regards

It did the first one when i was 18, then 20 and 22.

Here is the deal, my body still developed so i was just free from Fordyce Spots for about 6 months.

One treatment won't do any permanent damage if you keep good healing care.

In my case, i got dozend of scars and the skin condition is really fucked up. I will do some at home treatments to get the skin repaired.

Usually CO2 doesnt do any scars, but pigmentation might occur. At least thats what Im told. Im getting the session in a month from now. He said that it might need several threatments to remove them all. Hopefully it'll work out just right. Im 26 so not really sure when the spots will stop developing.

So guys.. I just had the C02 Laser threatment.

It went very smooth! The doctor was one of the best I've ever seen. Down on the ground and took his time to hear me out and tell me about the procedure.

The threament took around 40 minutes where as the 30 minutes was for the EMLA cream to kick in. I didnt feel a thing.

I had 148 spots he zapped. Told me I might need another round if some of them are clustered together. We'll see in a few months time.

I've posted a few pictures of my dong 2 hours after the procedure.
